As the topic says how is the game? Does it live up to the hype?
It is so dead. Ready for launch yes? Click play and Origin client launch the game. Takes awhile and nothing happens then i see a black window. It expands to full screen with a gold cursor, wait, awhile.
EA Bioware appears on the screen. Another New screen informs about auto save then goes black.
Full of expectation, nothing new happens, just me and my black screen with a gold cursor, no graphics, no sound?
Disappointed, try ESC key nothing happens, hit Ctrl+ALT=DEL, bring up the Task manager and check CPU usage at 100%, force shut down. Kept trying it a few times, no change.
The game is dead for me.

Hi guys,
Thank you all for the quick replies with your DxDiag reports.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like all of you are on dual core CPUs. Dragon Age: Inquisition requires a quad-core CPU.
If you ordered a digital copy of the game on Origin and you absolutely won't have a chance to play the game on a computer that meets the minimum requirements, you can request a refund (granted that you are eligible) here: help.ea.com/en/refund/
Cheers,
Nils

Getting a new Desktop PC, with Quad core CPU just to play this game.Sounds crazy but its time for an upgrade.
I will be back with more feedback on my game play.
My advice to the wisewolf, get an I7 cpu desktop. Top it with a GTX quality graphics card and you are coming back with a VENGEANCE!!!
Don't forget to get a coffee maker and the strongest coffee you can find to go along with it. Sleep is overrated. We will have plenty of that when we depart from this world.
ordered a new MSI Slim AG270 27" w/GTX870M All-in-one Gaming desktop. That's a big ass screen PC compared to my current 23". I will write back with some inside into how my new machine preforms.
