I don't know if this thread still has any legs or not, but what the heck. Lots of good stuff written by several members already was really helpful deciding which to play.

So then came AC Syndicate and I really enjoyed that one. I was about done with the series but Syndicate roped me back in. I loved the setting and probably enjoyed the game as much or more as any other. Well, ok, Black Flag is probably still my favorite but Syndicate was a hoot.

AC Origins is supposed to be out later this month. I think that one will take a beating from the faithful unless it's good from the git. Being honest, it will have to be a blockbuster to keep me interested.

I forgot about this thread up until I decided to download a trainer while replaying Unity as It was on my backlog of games to play since I stopped playing sometime after its release due to all the bugs and issues.

Kind of shocking how well it runs now though it still has some hilarious bugs.

Now as for AC:S that was a fairly fun game that didn't take itself too seriously and did a MUCH better job fleshing out characters and telling a narrative than previous games but much of the game was filler material and like most AC games offered very little innovation for combat. Overall its still a hell of a lot better than Unity and AC3 in my opinion being a "not really that good but definately not horrible" kind of game.

Lastly Origins...I'd avoid that like the plague if you have a weak machine because its poorly optimized and it uses multiple layers of DRM and all that combined just eats up your CPU power.
