Biggest excuse in the book, if it isn't pricing, it is DRM, if it isn't DRM, then it is the lack of Demos.
Warez users will continue to do what they do, because it is free and they are greedy, not because of the other excuses they used to excuse their theft.

Found this thread and thought I would share my small test I did when I heard about this. The link below show's the number of writes to disk the game made after running for about 2 hours. This includes saving the game several times. So far I have seen nothing to indicate that the game is doing any thing bad to my SSD. Samsung SSD software still show my drive health the same as it was before putting over 12 hours into the game.

With all the hate going EA's way, I thought I'd post my recent experience with EA.
I bought that ridiculous joke of an RPG called DA:I and was completely unhappy.
I went to EA's site and logged into the "Great Game Refund" section.
20 minutes later I had my money back even though I had played about 3 hours of the game, (3 hours was all I could stand).
So, in short ... EA has come a long way in customer satisfaction.

That's pretty cool of them. I guess the "Great Game Guarantee" they have isn't BS. Says you can get a full refund within 24 hours after the first time you launch the game. I've heard its basically impossible to get refunds on steam.

Alrighty, after 20 hours of play since Monday I decided to check my SSD stats.
All SMART data is in line with normal use, no spikes in seek errors, block damage, or massive increase in total writes.
Hiarliously, SSDLife has actually extended the life expectancy of my drive by nearly 10 days

I buy the games because they are BIOWARE games. Bioware is awesome.....at least they WERE awesome before freaking EA took them over. I feel like EA has a 'quantity over quality' mentality in there other games and they are really pushing Bioware to adopt that mentality. They desire games that are more lucrative, easier for everyone to play, etc. They really don't seem to care about the fanbase and don't listen to their complaints. EA is going the way of Ubisoft (who's stocks just plummeted thanks to the abysmal launch of Assassin's Creed Unity This type of anti-piracy overreaction is only going to drive the hackers to target them even more and drive the fans to either move away to another game or just pirate it.
Are you looking???

I've been monitoring the use of the SSD and I'm not seeing anything that reads or writes that would lower the life of my SSD's.
That being said, SSD's, with normal or average use, are nearly on par with the life of standard mechanical drives. Since the price is dropping pretty drastically, I can't see keeping the solid states in my computer long enough to wait for them to die. I'm running the OS and all my games from the SSD's (RAID 0) and have run into no problems.
