This is BS, it is the usual Anti-EA propaganda BS they always put out.
Don't copy and paste stuff and start a thread if you don't understand the subject. That is what they want you to do, to spread it around to cause people to not buy it etc.
First of all: I will not take your post as an insult, cause that would be childish.
But I will not call BS on that quoted guy.
There are methods to prove how many times a program accesses the SSD.
And I know how SSDs write and read, trust me.
Since my SSD is from 2011 (so it's "old" in computer terms), I would not like to have the lifespan even further decreased, if I can avoid it easily by installing DAI on a usual HDD.
I will definitely follow this issue. There are some tech experts, who can reproduce this scenario and give us clarity about whether the claim is true or not.
Oh and btw: I bought DAI and I will play now via VPN. 💛
It wasn't an insult but an actual fact.
Accessing NAND Chips isn't the problem, its when NAND chips are being written to constantly. And since the protection scheme doesn't write to them, the SSD's will be fine.
I also know how SSDs work, I even wrote a nice big helpful thread in the General Section a long time ago about them etc.
Again, it is BS from anti-EA people. They will gripe about anything, it is the same people who griped about Assassin's Creed 2's always online protection.
Relying on someone on a dodgy forum does not mean the truth.
EDIT:
Let me make it easier for you, find a reliable source where people have complained about Lords of the Fallen or FIFA 15 users who have had their SSDs die on them because of Denuvo?
You won't find it.
Here is why Denuvo, only affects binaries and libraries that are resident in the memory, and protects them from being changed or tampered with. That is all it does.
It DOESN'T write to HDDs or SSDs, it loads up and sits while the game is playing and protects the processes.
Again what you have read is utter BS.

Good grief, Toki! How the heck are you.... no, wait...you're not. Zowie, Toki. My old pC was a Core 2 Quad Extreme @ 3.2 Ghz. and I had problems in some games.
Are you building the new PC...a desktop? Just having to allocate funds as they are available, or are you having it built? Dude, I feel for you. That must be difficult.
How many more components do you still need for it anyway? Be ready by XMas ya think? You get that new one finished and you might not sleep for Days bro. Hang in there.
I am building it myself. But due to money state (e.g. Jobless and on Wellfair). *Shudders* Its taking time to get the components together. So far I only need the CPU, Case, PSU and GPU.
GPU will be last in hope the price will drop. I should hopefully get by with the onboard and CPU GPU till I can get the GPU I want. So it will be after Xmas. Probably Feb next year in time for my Witcher 3 Collectors Edition.
Remember when people said StarForce was busting optical drives?
And how everyone on every forum said it was BS, and that it was impossible that such a thing could happen, that it had to be properly tested before it was implemented...
Until every company stopped to use it... because IT WAS frying hardware.
Those were good times.

Bit over dramatic, it burned out old CD-Rom drives and even then it was rare that it did that.
