By chance are you running an outdated version of EMET? That crash indicates a buffer overflow, and it it something I often saw running EMET 4.0.
Microsoft recently released EMET 5.1. If you're running EMET, try updating to that and resetting to their recommended settings and see if the clears up your problems. Or setting exceptions for the game and trainer may help if you can't update, but that is iffy.
Not sure if this game is violent enough to cause a change in version for AUS most alterations are well advertised, although I personally find French people offensive!
I have tried to send you my (compressed) exe via email but alas it exceeds my mail server limit by 4mb (24mb). I doubt you will find a difference in it anyway as its a steam download. I have verified my game cache and reinstalled uplay in case there were version issues or previous firewall blocks on the Ubisoft Uplay software. The game runs fine without the trainer and runs butter smooth for me. However, as soon as I hit F1... instant crash, regardless of applying it in the menu or in game. Never had a problems with your trainers in the past, and if im the only one with the issue perfectly happy to suck it up and figure it out myself. Will monitor the forums in case this is something affecting others or a solution is provided. Either way you guys are the best in the business at what you do ! keep it up !!!!

Figured it out... as i was typing the story above Cal had mentioned it writes files to the users/appdata/temp folder. This was set to read only on my computer. Anyone who has similar issues with dropbox would know of this. Anyway make sure your temp folder is not read only !!! Now working
thanks guys

This worked.
I can't believe I missed the readonly setting on appdata folder.
Thank you Cal! Thank you tjh006!
Any chance for a "stop timer" option? Trying to solo the co-op mission "The Tournament" and it's practically impossible to get the flags within the time limit by yourself.
why don't you co-op? only EU servers are down as far as I know.
