The thing is, the way the defect was introduced was in a way that falls outside of scope so it would be considered invalid (especially if it's non-reproducible and there are no steps to recreate without having DLC that allows them to see that). It is possible that DLC once worked but as the game code branches out into different codes and exe's, that's not guaranteed to stay the same (nor is it likely to).
The best course of action is if someone without the DLC can reproduce it in a way that isn't caused by any other issue within the Trainer Troubleshooting Guide. This would fall in scope of the development team.

yep, i agree with that logic. As a persion who works in software dev, I understand about branching builds. Hence why I mentioned the current build of in my previous post.
Anywho, I spent some time troubleshooting it myself even further. I've discovered the issue. For some reason, my C:\users\username\AppData folder and its subfolders were all read only. I used dropbox and ran into this issue before with this. Not sure how that got changed, but turning off Read Only has fixed my issue. Hopefully it will help the others that reported issue with trainer crashing. So in end, it wasn't DLC that affected it after all.

I still haven't finished this yet.
I think the stupid companion app put me off doing so.
There's a companion app, man I must of missed that.
I never used the one for Black Flag either, I hate playing games on a mobile phone, that's why I have a PC..

They basically took out the send agents out and level them from the game to an App, where you can buy stuff... so you can open chests in the game.
And you have to have both the game and app open at same time. Bloody annoying.
Even more so when you don't have a tablet or phone to use it.
oh wow. I recall the companion app allowed you to manage your fleet from Black Flag but you're able to do it ingame. Now it's onlt via an app with Unity. That's terrible. Man, they really dropped the ball on many things with this title. Only thing good is the graphics and story. I have Rogue as well and it plays exactly like Black Flag but graphics are dumbed down a bit since it's a previous gen console port.

Well I won't be getting 100% completion then
Not that I had in any of the others, too little time and too big of game back log..
Thank the internet for CH that's all I have to say
