I don't get it I just don't get it. I was looking up information on Dragon Age on IGN and I could swear that I saw a user score for the game of 9.3! How can you even score something as a user if the finished game has not been released yet. I can just see it now when the game gets the released if the scores it gets don't match up to what people think it should have gotten watch out for the user reaction then!

somebody realized that an open system of average rating is
What I don't get is why Steam allows Metacritics to be shown as a quality meassurement for most games. That system is equally retarded. It basically shows the average of idiots giving a game 10/10 and other idiots who rate it 0/10. Only 1 out of 10 reviews are actually useful for consumers.

People need to start ignoring reviews and ratings anyway, as they're all just some random person's opinion (Often people who get paid to write said opinion, one way or the other). I've seen reviewers praise titles that I thought were thoroughly disappointing, and I've seen them tear other titles to shreds en masse that I really enjoyed.

If you're interested in a game, go to the twitch channel and website and look at what info they've released. If it's a dev or publisher that isn't big on honesty or openness, or if you're not 100% sure you'll enjoy the game, don't even consider pre-ordering. I've found that the best thing you can do is wait for release, and then watch some let's plays on youtube, and maybe someone streaming live gameplay.

Actually watching the game being played, with no cuts or potentially misleading information is the only way you're going to come close to finding out if you're going to enjoy a title or not.

I tried the EA Access 6 hour trial on my Xbone, and I must say I was very impressed. Took a while to get comfortable with the UI and controls, but I really liked it.

I loved the first game for its story and gameplay. Didn't like the second game since it was very restricted to only a few areas and it was always wave after wave of enemies.

My opinion so far is that Inquisition takes the best from both predecessors and that any high scoring reviews are well deserved.

Looking forward to the full release.
