Also wanted to point out that within a day or so there will be Benchmarks up on the internet so if you are not sure if your PC can run these, find a benchmark via google for AC Unity (there will be one, just google it) and test your system.

    Happy Hunting

I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia and they had a tester for AC unity, claimed my 750 gtx wasn't good enough, total BS if you ask me.

It also has the option to play the game at lower resolutions and stretch, so some should be able to play at a reasonable frame rate, with it looking decent. It just doesn't seem to be as well optimized as even blackflag, which is a shame. I'm waiting for a few patches.

It is games like this that Nvidia should have let us keep our old cards in our system as dedicated physx cards.

You can set your old GPU to be a dedicated Physx card.

Why did you think you couldn't?

In a recent driver update nvidia dropped support for older graphics cards that many of us were using for Physx cards, I want to say anything 400 series or before. I was using a 285. If you have any of these cards in your system while attempting to install any of the newer drivers, it will blue screen during the install, and will prevent your computer from booting again until you remove the card.

I haven't found any benchmarks but I've started playing and it's a stunning game. I have an i7-4930K with 2 R9 270X cards in crossfire and it seems to perform very nicely.

I set the resolution at 1600x900 and most of the settings to medium to low (shadows) and fxaa on my i7 920 (I know its old, but its a beast), and gtx 660, and I'm getting pretty reliable frame rates between 30-45 fps.

Bumping the resolution to 1080p or turning on AO really seems to kill the framerate on my setup. I'm still playing with the other settings to see what works best for the crowds.
