Any time I get a mission that requires fire arrows, I use one arrow then I can't get them to show up again. Am I doing something wrong or is there some kind of trick?

The arrow only works when you hit the right amount of hit counters.
Mean if you hit someone 5 times and can use F to kill someone in one go than you can use a fire arrow.
