the game is unplayable for me due to not being able to remap to the arrow keys i just can not use the w,a,s,d keys and the Xbox 360 controller i know that there has been a lot of talk about this issue on the steam forms and one person has managed to remapped the camera to F1,F2,F3,F4 apparently doing these will let you remap the arrow keys these this solution just does not work for me

is there any other way of remapping these keys or will i have to wait for a patch

If you go to where the config file is: C:\User\Username\Saved Games\TangoGameworks\TheEvilWithin\base.

In there is a file called "the evil withinConfig" just open that with the editor and you can change the keys in there aswell.

i tried that and when i run the game in keyboard settings where the w,a,s,d keys where assigned is now blank and i can not even re a sign them back to w,a,s,d luckily i backed up the configuration file guess ill wait for a patch to fix it ?

i had the same problem with Sleeping Dogs when they did the 1st update they disabled remapping to the arrow keys hopefully Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition will have these feature

Might already have the answer but the arrows keys are already bound for movement. They work, don't need to map them.
