I know trainers are very difficult to make for a game like this but has anyone tried using either art money or CoSMOS with any success? if so please post how I have had no success at my end.

no with CoSMOS i found no way
but its easyer use your editor go into steam/steamapps/common/the grat war/content/making history TGW/modules/game/ (your senario) ,,for example diplomacy and desaster
open the gamesysnation coose your nation you wanna play and find the country in list ther you have all ..money oil ..ect where you than start with...but take care dotn make it too big its a smal game .for example...money was max here at property name="nMoney" value="999000000" ingame you get shown 9.990.000
