Regarding the Trainer 1.5.3/C.E., Get Billions of Dollars, One Turn R....

So I download the trainer, unpack it just fine, and then try to run it before starting up the game. The trainer tries to authenticate itself but then pops up an error saying that this program as stopped working. I can PM the error details if need be.

I am using the steam version of the game but as I can't run the trainer first it so far as no bearing I know of on the problem

I had just bought SOTS II and after 15 mins of the excuse of a game I wanted to revisit the original. I have used the previous generation of trainers years ago on a retail version I have since lost so I know it can work.

Any help would be great.

I used the trainer for I think the Argos shipyard expansion and that trainer worked not sure why but it does.

uninstall IE10+11 or Win8/10

yea my crashes too on start up I even tried the compatibility wizard and nothing works this trainer is a bust and I have IE 9 with windows 7. So another words it is broken trainer
