Which trainer do I need for the Origin version? I've tried all the updated ones but none seem to work.

All trainers for this game on Origin either crash the game or crash themselves (RETAIL and WIN8 trainers crash the game, STEAM trainer crashes itself). I personally would deeply love an Origin-friendly trainer for Dragon Age: Origins.
I'm finding great difficulty getting immersed in this game, mostly because I get lost in the gameworld easily and it's a third-person/strategy game. Realistically, I prefer one or the other. Mass Effect is a third-person RPG-shooter. There are elements of strategy in it and I like that. With Dragon Age, it's extremely difficult to conform to its mechanics, which is why I so desperately desire a trainer for it.

I confirm that ALL trainers crash on this version of Dragon Age, installed on Windows 8. The latest version of the trainer doesn't work for the Origin version of DAO. I was beginning to think that it was just me, good thing I saw other people having the same problem. Was getting hopeless and about to try reformatting my PC and downgrading back to Windows 7. I'll try the MOD for now and see how it works.

    Read the post above yours...

You follow the link, then download the file, put it in your Dragon Age override folder.

This gives you an item in-game that allows you to...
Give yourself money, weapons, armor, xp, stat points, level up, free enchantments, etc, etc.

I did read that post, but I rather a hack than a mod; something that will allow me to have a more enriching experience in the vanilla game. I am completely new to Dragon Age, I'd be a fool to start modding it now.
