Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Message Board  

I just checked out the reviews for Shadow Of Mordor from both IGN and Gamespot. IGN gave mordor an 8.7 and Gamespot gave it an 8. I like the scores that Mordor got and I like the fact that the developer felt confident enough in the game that they allowed it to be reviewed several days BEFORE the official release of the game.

That's pretty good. Although I am concerned about the spec requirements, they seem rather high end. And I am annoyed that they increased the price by at least 20%.

The IGN critic on MetaCritic scored it a beefy 93.

I'm reading that it takes 3GB Vram to run on High and 6gb Vram to run on Ultra. Seems a bit high. Some additional system specs here at Game Debate:

Welp, no high for me :\ I only have like 2,5gb of Vram

Lots of debate at the moment over if that's actually correct or that they are padding the estimates, Can't imagine a GTX960 with 4gb won't be able to do it.

does it support SLI?

I didn't see anything about SLI support but it had better otherwise very few people will be playing on Ultra settings. I have a Titan Black and it has 6GB Vram but most of the top cards have 3-4GB. I doubt I'll play it on Ultra, there will probably be lag so more likely High settings will play better.

The Ultra Texture Pack will be a seperate download anyway. Maybe these textures were made for future grafix cards.

fack it, im gonna take a leap of faith, and fork over the 37 quid for the game + season pass

was going to buy alien, but this looks like it has more replay value
