Confirmed Aug/2014, the cheat console does actually work. The text string cg_menu cheatmenu must be entered in lower case with no quotes, contrary to what is indicated above. Doing this will bring up the God Mode option. Just hit tilde again to close the console, then hit Enter to accept God Mode. Your health bar turns green. You must repeat this at the beginning of each mission. Great game with God Mode on. Have fun!
