No, you aren't lucky, you just have a good computer and others who complain about issues MOST of the time has bad ones and think they can match a 2014 gaming rig.

Exactly. And in Hoover's instance, he said his CPU AND GPU just barely clear the 'Can You Run This' mark.

Actually, he is lucky, pc gaming today can be very random when it comes to performance

having state of the art pc is no gurantee that you'll be able to play X game

well my rig quadcore from 2008 came all the way to 2014 and still some games did run smootly... prob a pro helped me with setting my comp in 2008 . intel just rules .. ow and desktop because laptops suck butt

after an upgrade to an i7-4790k, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 DDR3 RAM and a 4Gb GTX970 the game runs brill. I set the manual Texture Cache folder to kill that texture popping that id tech 5 is infamous for. The Old Blood runs even better so I guess The New Order is not properly optimized.

Can't wait to check out the new Doom when it eventually gets released. Hope Id made a better engine for it though.
