Can you check the version number? Right-click on My Computer, select Properties. Then find and open Device Manager. Click on Display Adapters then click on your model. What's the number reported next to Driver Version on the Driver tab?
My 337.88 looks like this: Driver Version: 9.18.13.3788
Where is "My computer" on windows 7? I could find is when I had XP but not now. just found 340.52 drivers which is one up from what I am using will download that and try but I think I need to accept this game will NEVER run on my rig and I got ripped off $79.00 USD

Maybe just Computer. It's on my Desktop in Win 7. The Icon you click that shows your disk drives and devices.
Does adjusting your in-game video options Down have no effect at all? Like lower the resolution and Aniso Filetering. Any movement options like Phys-Ex, Blur or Uber Sampling - set Off.
$79? You know that game was on sale for 25% off like last month on Steam? I was very surprised and even posted about it in the Wolf message base.
I read somewhere it's gonna be like 50% soon. I always wait for a sale. I will never buy another game at full price if I can help it. Used to, but no more for me.

the new drivers allowed it to run further but when I skip the intro I get this error: "Nvidia OpenGL Driver: Your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements for this application, the application will now close." WTF?!!!!!!!! there are videos on youtube with people running the game on GTX550ti's why is MY on any different?
[Edited by Hoover1979, 8/8/2014 11:17:03 PM]
EDIT: store page says minimum is GTX460. mine is higher and the game says it is below minimum?!!!!!

Did you try disabling SLI? The game is OpenGL and the Nvidia forums said they have no profile for running SLI for OpenGL.
it was disabled. however by setting vt cache to low and adding vt compress it runs now. loads of texture popping but it runs and at a decent speed! 💛
thanks for your help!

great that you got it running , oh and the texture popping is not so much your rig, but more of the game being badly optimised, Rage had the same issue
