Regarding the Trainer 1.3, Unlimited Gold, One-Turn Constructi....

CA today released an update for the Steam version of Medieval 2, which allows for multiplayer through Steamworks and integrates Kingdoms as DLC. Unfortunately, this means an updated medieval2.exe and trainers for both the vanilla version and Kingdoms no longer work.

just use the consol, it can do everything the trainer does, and more

The console does most things, but the trainer is far more efficient than the console for providing unlimited cash and unit movement, though...

And wouldn't you know this happens as I just start to play a new game. Two days in and now the trainer doesn't work. Thanks Steam!

It would be nice if the trainer was updated to work with the newly patched game.

So, they patched the game *7 YEARS* after the last patch?

it was a patch to move the multiplayer from the now dead gamespy, over to steamworks.

and imo, it would be a waste of time updating the trainer, as the console can do it all, along with 50 other cheats

So by extension, Drenus, you must think the original trainer was a waste of time as well, for the same reasons? I'll leave you to endlessly type [character_reset "xxxx"] and [add_money 40000] into the console then.

Me? I'd like my trainer back, personally; but I understand if you guys don't want to mess around with a trainer for such an old game.

Yep, the console is just too bulky and too many codes to learn to use properly.

The game may be old but is still played by many. New mods for it are posted everyday. If it wasn't popular why would they bother to update the multiplayer? Why would Steam bother updating it?
