I could do with a little assistance on this.
I realise I may be monumentally stupid, but I cannot figure out where to find the version number to obtain the correct trainer.
the only version number I can locate is the one from the options screen of 1.0.1643565. But this bears no correlation to the version numbers listed 🤔
Could some random nice person out there tell me how and where to locate a relevant version number please?

I'm not sure how timely this reply is, but let me help you out.
Go to the directory. I believe in this case you'd be looking for:
C:/Programs Files(x86)/2K Games/Bioshock Infinite
Got it? Alright, click that and folder called Binaries.
Inside you will find the executable. Right click it and select Properties. Now go to the 'Details' tab. The numbers separated by periods is the version number.
Now, if you have a desktop shortcut, all the better. Save some time by right clicking that and selecting Open File Location. HOWEVER you cannot check for the version number on the shortcut itself, it MUST be the direct executable.
