The attribute option should be turned off before leaving the attribute screen. It may cause malfunction to the game when it's activated somewhere else.

About the career level, if you don't activate this option and load a career does it display your current difficulty level on the trainer?

No, it doesn't show my current difficulty level on the trainer.

As far as the skill attributes go there maybe an easier option to manipulate and max them out other than playing matches/games in career.

In the career mode there is a net practice mini game that you can increase important skill points and see your current difficulty setting.

Every 6th ball you face in that mode you get a skill point, for example... on the sixth ball you hit you acquire skill points and 12th ball,18th,24th etc. all the way to 60.

I've been trying to freeze the number so every ball hit in the net practise mode is a skill point, but haven't quite worked it out, and it seems to crash the game for me.

It would be great if you guys could take a look at that game mode in career and see if the skill points could be maxed out or manipulated for the player in the net practice mode.

As far as the forced career mode option goes it works fine for me.

It does only work for the ATTRIBUTES (NOT skills) in player creation.

@Treo: I've already read that note on CE forum. But I would rather like to know why the other options aren't working for many people. I've spent more time on this game than it's worth it but I still haven't figured it out yet.

Yeah i hear ya, it's a pain in the ass...those skill points maxed would be great though, as i wouldn't have to worry about patches on steam, thanks anyway.

Can you try on a newly created career profile?

I re-downloaded the trainer and have tried the career mode difficulty option on both an existing career and new career. I don't get the error message box popup any more, which I did before (not sure if there has been an update to the trainer?)

The new career - it detects the current career level (I set this to legend), and when I press num pad 2, I get the activated sound. When I go in to nets mode though, the level is still set at legend - so it seems to have no effect on the difficulty. The only thing it does do is make the batsman model 1/2 size which people have reported before.

On my existing career - it doesn't seem to detect the current difficulty. It has automatically progressed to Pro due to gaining skill points, but the trainer detects it as Rookie (I think I started at this level to get the hang of the game). Again, I can activate the option and hear the sound - but it doesn't change the difficulty in the nets.
