I decided to make a cheat mod instead. It's much less work for me and the game is also in early state which means it getting patched very often, a mod has the benefit that it works through multiple patches. The mod itself has of course no option to lower or increase but you can for example turn off freezing hunger but freezing supplies instead and this way you can manage what you are looking for.

The mod has been sent and it has the following options which might be expanded depending on the requests:

Options (are frozen to specific value you can define on the mod)
