At the career menu is there any way to see the current difficulty?

I don't think there is ... You do get to choose difficulty at the start of the career. The based on your Skill ranking (1-5) your difficulty is scaled. So If you start with rookie difficulty, when you reach Skill Rank 2 the Game changes the career difficulty to amateur. And so on...

I think I found a way to set the career level. Net practice shows me it works. But like I said I'm not very familar to this game so I cannot see differences between the AI or how it would affect the AI at all but I'm sure you guys let me know.

I'm currently playing the game with a speed hack and it makes the game quite a lot easier.
I think if there was an option to max out all attributes and skills at the start of your career plus an option to freeze AI or force the AI to drop catches the difficulty option should not be an issue, even if it is tuned to legendary or what ever the highest difficulty is.
I'm also a little concerned how often they are updating this game on Steam, hopefully CH updates the trainer in the near future as i no for a fact that there is more patches coming to this game soon.

TREO_X : did you use CoSMOS to find the pointer for the speed hack ? I tried ...CoSMOS and ended up crashing the game..so stopped messing around with it.

Yeah, it's very basic, all i do for speed hack is start CE as administrator.
Then start steam as admin.
load DB Cricket 14
load match/game.
alt+tab back to CE
select Cricket14.exe
then enter CE settings, select hotkeys, you will see speed hack options that can be customized to your keyboard. You can now slow down the game or speed it up to what ever you want, it's quite an advantage when batting and bowling, hope that helps for now.
The game does seem to crash if you don't do it in the order i explained, so start CE then start the game and wait for it to load before accesing the .exe in CE.
