The trainer cannot have the same name as the game executable. Also check if a "wrfault" process is running, this is the windows error reporting service that still holds a game process to gather information when the game has previously crashed.

These are the two reasons why the trainer would think there is a second game process when you only see one.

i have no process by the name of wrfault, and there appears to be only one process of the game running. I also have not changed the name of the trainer exe, which is ft-Knifepo1nt

Switch to "details" tab and sort by name. Then check again.

There appears to be two executables running for the game, but im unable to terminate one of them, though im an admin on my computer and have (apparently) admin privilages. i guess no one else has had this problem? running windows 10

Try a reboot, that should kill the process.

I'm using the steam version and mine is still at 0.12.28. I've verified the game cache and its still on 0.12.28.

Thats weird.
