Final Fantasy III Message Board  

I own Final Fantasy 3 on Steam too and I have the same problems.

1. Job level doesn't increase for anything other than freelancer.
2. Super MP doesn't do anything, I've only tested it with Red Mages.
3. The Level Select jumped all the way to 99 with one press of +.

Gil increase worked, Max HP works, Heal works.

Steam dropped a new patch on us for FF3. Trainer no longer works. Can you spare the time to help us out again? I know it's just a new release of an old game, but those of us who are FF fans (in my case, since FF1) would like to keep playing. On the other hand, I'll understand if it's not worth the time. Thanks!

Just got the updated version of the trainer. The one released today, along with the steam update for today 06/12. Doesn't seem to work for me. When I select the 1st char in the status screen, and try to change the health the char in the 4th slot gets changed. The other options do not seem to work right either.

Is it not going to be fixed or are we waiting until it updates again.

im having the same problems as everyone on here i have the LEGIT STEAM version of the game the latest trainer but the job levels don't increase on anything other then freelancer.

i played the game one hour using the choices the game gave me as default. if the jobs levels don't work for your custom character on your custom mode then i am afraid i wont be going back to update the trainer for 100 different characters or versions. if the option is useless then let me know and we will remove it completely

what do you mean by custom character and custom mode? i have not changed any settign or names while playing the game, i know this is frustrating and its not easy creating a trainer, and i only put LEGIT STEAM as earlier on that was a suggestion as to why the trainer might not be working.

I hadn’t played FFIII for a while so I restarted and dumped an unfinished game (couldn’t get past Hein) that was saved with extra HP and money spread across four default characters. I also re-downloaded the 06.12.2014 trainer to be on the safe side.

Both HP and money options worked correctly on Luneth. I went to work on Arc when he joined the party but HP that was keyed into Arc’s Status screen was somehow transferred to Luneth, and Arc’s HP remained unchanged. Another try confirmed the results with these default characters.

I’m on Win 7 x64, could it be a 64-bit thing?
