With "Spell Cooldown" turned on during the tower defense game a single trap can spam whatever ability it has rapidly, its so overpowered that you only need 1 trap for each spawn point and go afk.

It's not really a glitch, towers use abilities, that the game translates as spells, afaik why using that option on TD is, I wholeheartedly agree, amusing as heck!
Particularly, the ice tower becomes Ice Man's main attack, the Fire Tower becomes a fire breathing dragon, and the Rocket tower...well, that becomes a macross fighter that launches an unlimited amount of missiles towards its unlucky targets. I mean, I have an i7 3930 and I lag whenever the darn thing fires at targets :P
