A couple days ago I fell into a bit of trouble where I turned on "easy kills" to get past trash and get back to Straid (like an idiot I forgot to activate the bonfire behind him) but forgot to turn it off where the mummies and him were, naturally the mummies one shotted him because of "easy kills" and yet now after two days and waiting hour after hour in game. Still no gravestone. Anyone else having this issue or something similar?

There's supposed to be according to the wiki and from what I've heard in the chatstream

I had the same issue with Targray. Of course, I killed him on purpose so I could get his armor and halberd... but no gravestone appeared, even after reloading and waiting.
It did eventually show up, though I have no idea why. Did you try having your sins forgiven by Cromwell the Pardoner? I don't know if that makes any difference, but it was one of the things I remember doing before his gravestone finally appeared.
