    hehe yup lots a fun to change stuff, bad part though its only working from a new game, or edit the savegame afterwards
    you could edit it further on in the game of course but then you need to add a custom ship/weapon to a station/planet shipyard

    btw that taurus name you still see in front of the ship, cant be changed that simple, its in the model .mdl of the ship itself and those are binary files

    For any one that don't know, the number that is before the effect amount is the effect place holder. Here is an xamp.
    When modifying propulsion ( Speed is 10, Maneuverability is 11, Accl is 12 and PTE charge-up time is 13 )I hope this is of some help to someone.

    In regards to those looking to mod the stats of enhancements I am going to share my list I have made. It is not complete as I haven't been playing the game a long time yet, however it is a good base of what the different enhancement #'s reference to.

    weapon enhancement:
    0
    1 - protect from hack
    2 - battery recharge
    3 - Crit chance+
    4 - crit dmg+
    5 - Damage to veterans+
    6 - light weapon dmg+
    7 - Light weapon accuracy+
    8 - heavy weapon dmg+
    9 - heavy weapon acc+
    10
    11 - weapon range+
    12 - rate of fire
    13 - Shield dmg
    14 - hull dmg
    15 - add radiation dmg
    16 - add emp dmg
    17 - blast radius
    18 - battery energy+


    system enhancement:
