When did this game become VAC enabled? it was NOT on the page during pre-order nor for the first few days it was out. I totally dislike when games do this, especially if you are FORCED in to Online play.
They added the VAC badge on the store page when the second (might have been the first) patch hit for PC. I'd give decent odds on that only being on there because of them banning people with vac bans in other games from online play though.

From Software, according to the official Steam support thread...

...indicates that Valve Anti-Cheat is official for the game, but it seems it was implemented poorly into the server due to those who are VAC banned not being able to connect.
So, I think it was not present on the store page due to a bug.
