That should have been implamented. Like the punkbuster games that gave you the option to have the server protected or not.
Absolutely, but no, they prefer to play god with their customers.
Have you seen the number of dissatisfied people on Steam, huge, hopefully that'll teach them (if they even care, while sitting on their m(b)illions).
Did not need to. Since how I know how the game worked in the past and now they have implamented Valves Anti Cheat system. To stop what happened in the past. But due to the nature of the game. They changed it so that you dont have the option to cheat. Because they dont want it. So its a shame. People will complain but I doubt they will change their stance. Since this is what they wanted no matter how they word it.
Just so you know, the first trainer would just crash the game when certain cheats were activated, like infinite item usage.
After CH made a new trainer V1.02, for the patch applied to DSII, the crashes have stopped, it's also undetectable. I play with the trainer active for hours at a time, ONLINE.
Yesterday I played like 5 hours straight, got invaded, did some invading myself for the bell tower covenant, all with the trainer activated and never got VAC banned.
The fights ended so quickly I don't think other players could even tell what was going on. With infinite spell usage you pretty much just spam Forbidden Sun at point blank range and it's GG in about 5 seconds.
This trainer is the best thing to ever happen to this game because the only reason it's bull**** hard is due to clunky animations and delayed attacks... other wise if the player wasn't at such a disadvantage, it wouldn't be so bad.
The trainer also puts douche bag trolls in their place... I hate invaders but I like co-oping to help others, problem is, both these things go hand in hand in Dark Souls II... you can't do one without the other.
Point being, you can use the trainer online, just don't go advertising your Steam profile name as your character name.
If your profile name is FuzzyWuzzyWuzABear, put your character's name as SirHungryMan or something stupid like that...
Completely disassociate your Steam name with your character name so players can't look you up and file reports against your account.
It's simple to not get caught and the oldest internet rule... anonymity = untouchable. This trainer or CoSMOS is NOT detectable by VAC, trust me... I've been using both of them since day 1 and have about 60 hours plugged in, I'm on NG++ currently and the game's been out for almost a week.
Uh, you can just see who you played with by going into Steam Overlay and seeing who you recently played with.
