I used the trainer online for many hours (about 30), but I stopped any invasions by using effigies at the bonfire. I never did any battles PVP. When I read about VAC I immediately stopped going online but checked yesterday if I can still log in with my modded char and it still works.
I am the same. But as of now I deleted the game and refuse to play it. I only wanted to play this game to run through it beat all the bosses and never look back.
My paranoia is going nuts right now though to. So listening to me is probably not a good idea. Haha.

Coming from the 360 version with a heap of hacked items I still haven't gotten banned on it. Knowing FROM, what's most likely going on is they put the VAC SECURED part on the store page because people who already had VAC bans for other games couldn't play multiplayer in DS2 thanks to FROM disabling that component for them. The DS1 PC release had a heap of hackers but it wasn't anywhere near as vulnerable because you had to actively have humanity to be invaded.
