We've uploaded one more version. So far all of the people having trouble are using Norton. I would recommend to completely uninstall Norton if this latest trainer doesn't work.

ok, I quite literally killed Norton before trying this time, as in i went into my task manager and shut down Nortons process tree effectively turning the entire thing off entirely, and it still didn't work, I am not uninstalling my anti virus for this, considering I am paying for it on a yearly subscription.

on another note: entered into Nortons Sonar list and made sure that the trainer and the temp file it creates where both put to trusted (meaning they would be ignored by the scan) and it still didn't work.

The problem here is so far the trainer is not working for norton users only (or at least they replied so far) and for some reason they don't want to uninstall it even for just testing the trainer.

You expect CH to read your minds and basically figure out the problem from here while not co-operating in anyway. If one user comes forward and lets me know that on an interference free(aka AV free) OS the trainer still doesn't work then there is a chance there could be something wrong with the trainer and i can actually fix it then.

This is not my first trainer and i have troubleshooted people over teamviewer, very frustrating cases where the only way it worked was complete uninstall of the antivirus. I have never worked with such un-cooperative users though.

So if you want to help us help you then please do as is asked and we can actually go forward. We are not going anywhere and uninstalling the AV is not the worst thing that can happen to you

    So, my situation is this:

    Win8.1 64-bit
    Steam version.

    Avira free Anti Virus

Trainer works for me except for the Drone parts. But that I only tested this once today.

Just to let you guys know that it works with some setups.

    Good work guys.

I had the same problem and have norton removed from my PC. I can confirm that the trainer works good without norton internet security.

Finally! thank you for the feedback guys. I can work on improving the trainer now instead of just repeating myself.

Going to contact Norton so they fix the issue with their antivirus, here's hoping they care.

Thanks for confirming this. Norton has always been bad about blocking injection even when seemingly disabled or not running. It has hidden processes and services that continue to block certain files and injection methods. I would contact Norton and ask them why their software is blocking our non-malicious file if you are unwilling to uninstall and get a better product.

considering the previous trainers you've made have worked with Norton without any sort of hitch I just don't get why this one suddenly decided to be all weird about it.
