I have the fps drop issue when scrolling the map which most people have and it doesnt matter if my graphics settings are ultra or low.
Every 2nd game released these days is freaking broken/unfinished, what da hell is going on?!!

Is it on consoles? Does it have a big publisher? (I ask because I don't know anything about this game) In most of today's cases those 2 seem to be the causes. Off the top of my head...

Any Assassin's Creed after Revelations (consoles)
Any Total War after Medieval 2 (SEGA)

Its NOT broken. Don't even dare compare it to Rome 2 Total War.
One bug and people scream broken? ..I hate this generation. So much. I want the old one back.

Perfection is impossible, and anyone who says otherwise needs to go to a hospitol.

And to the 2nd poster: Its a PC game, and it has a small developer, Triumph Studios.

2nd I come from a generation that a customer is getting exactly what he paid for not half a product!

Thank you Jack I'll try that, I hope it will solve the issue before the endless patching begins.

Edit: sadly enough that didnt work for me at all, I still get about 60 fps solid but as soon as I start scrolling the map it promptly drops to 40-45, thanks anyway.

O0o0o...nerd rage! On a serious note though, I agree with Nexus' argument about MY generation being a bunch of self-indulgent, self-entitled, spoon-fed, morons. I will however concede the point that there are exceptions to every rule and to blanket such a broad pool of people without allowing for some exceptions is wrong and unrealistic. I suppose that it is worth noting that I believe this is true for a slew of reasons, not just because someone complains about being snookered one time.

I would further agree with kingkob that customers should get what they pay for, not half a product. On the same side of the coin, people have been bilking other people out of money by giving them a sub-par product or service since commodities started being bought and sold. So to say that any generation gets exactly what they pay for is an unfair and unrealistic blanket statement.

Depending on how persnickety you are and how many hairs you want to split, a piece of software purchased by a consumer from a developer is technically a service and what you are actually purchasing is license to use the service...hence the "terms of SERVICE" we all agree to but don't read. That's why software devs are able to get away with putting out a product that may or may not fully function as intended upon release (which causes the patch spamming after release).

In short, whether you like it or not, as long as it works they've fulfilled their end of the contract. Whether it works smoothly and quickly or if its slow and clunky...as long as the devs didn't advertise that their software is speedy and smooth, they are under no legal obligation to patch it at all. Buyer beware.

start the game windowed then in game click the maximize window
