Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.02, Super Health, Super Squad Health, E....

Process runs under "ME2Game.exe," while the trainer looks for "MassEffect2.exe."

A fix from Cheathappens would be great, as the game is still under the active status.

Are there any home-brewed solutions that work? Renaming them after repairing gave me the dll error.

There is no trainer for the Origin version! There also will not be.

Hi guys.. I've already posted this elsewhere on the forum but I'm reposting my solution here so that you can try it out too..


Proposed Solution: I just found a neat and easy little workaround for anyone interested. You can just download a nocd version of MassEffect2.exe v1.02 and replace the pesky launcher executable (i recommend just renaming it) with the new file. That way you still retain online connectivity for your legal copy while being able to use the old retail trainer.
Note: if you want to upload your saves to origin's cloud storage you'll have to simply save your game, exit the game, return your old MassEffect2.exe to its place and run it. When Origin asks you which saves to keep you just click on Local Storage and you're set. Hope this helps guys! Worked like a charm for me..

Extra Note for Trilogy owners: A friend of mine has the new Trilogy Origin only version and he had to do a couple extra steps for it to properly work.

1) Close Origin.
2) Run 1.02 patch (you can find it on Bioware's site)
3) Copy over No-CD for 1.02
4) Run Mass Effect 2 with origin CLOSED (otherwise it may not work for long because Origin may 'repair' the installation)
5) Run Trainer and enjoy!

P.S.: Depending on the DLCs you may have to use either the Steam trainer or the retail one..

For cloud storage of saves you can just right click on the game in Origin, repair the installation and run the game as usual.
When you're asked, select keeping the local saves and you're done!

it worked on origin fr aslong as i have played up till the new patch here in 2014 needs new trainer

I was on this trainer for a little while a couple of weeks ago and it was working. When did they patch the game on Steam?

Not that I have seen.
