You must first patch up your game to 1.21 using the Tafferpatcher.
This includes people who bought the game on STEAM. You may have
to run the Tafferpatcher twice to apply the patches fully.

Also, it's important to LAUNCH THE TRAINER FIRST! This game has
stupid protections in it that will close/crash the game if ANY
other program is run while it is already running.


Numpad 1: Super Health - it's best to use this option at the
beginning of the game when there are no enemies around
you. Press once and you have super high health.

Numpad 2: Mega Items - this applies to your arrows and items
that are diposable like potions. Make sure you
have an arrow or item selected and can see how many of
it you have and then press this key. You will have 99.

Numpad 3: Unlimited Gold - toggle this on and when you are at
the store, when you try to buy an item your gold
will increase to a high number.

Numpad 4: Super Stealth - toggle this on and your character is
much more stealthy. You can usually walk around and
in front of NPC and easily dispatch them or sneak
by them.



This trainer will allow you to customize the keys if you desire!
There are two ways to do this. One is the built-in custom key
creation and the other is the Trainer Customizer.


Built-in Custom Key Creation (this feature is not in Promo Trainers)

To create a custom key, make sure you have pressed F1 to activate
the trainer. Next, mouse over the option description on the
trainer and press the left mouse button. You will hear "Select Key".
Select the key on your keyboard that you wish to use. The program
will then say "Activated" and the option listed on the trainer will
update to the key you selected and will have "Custom" before it.
You can also click ANY option with the mouse button and then press
the ESC key to reset the trainer options back to their default
keys. You will need to do this each time you start the trainer or
use the Trainer Customizer described below.

requires an Internet connection and the trainer will not run if a connection is absent or if the

I love this trainer! Brilliant! Allows me a nice little speed run to get around without worrying about getting caught. Just discovered a couple of bugs that will cause problems later in the game though.

1. Super Stealth stops you being able to select some switches and buttons.

In the first mission, you can go into the dumb waiter to steal some loot in the room upstairs. Do this and you can't get back out because the switch to send you back down doesn't work any more.

This bug is more prominent in the second mission where you can't select numbers in the lock rooms to open up the warehouses. You get a click but the dials don't rotate. Try again without the trainer and it works fine (I can supply a save game to demonstrate). Strangely enough, some buttons do work. e.g. the elevators in level 2.

2. Sometimes the weapons shift location on the screen meaning that you have no idea what you're aiming at when trying to shoot arrows, etc. It's not so bad for a knockout but trying to fire a rope arrow or the like, you have no chance. Once this happens, it stays like that unless you reload and it's the luck of the draw whether it happens again.

The trainer for Thief 2: The Metal Age is no good any more.. it makes my game crash.

we don't have game installed or ability to update to that patch, which is why we suggest fresh install to the patch version that we have trainer for.

you are voluntarily patching to a beta or something, and we don't have a trainer for that version nor can we update to it since we don't have the game any longer.

Direct link to tafferpatcher doesn't work

Does anyone still have Tafferpatcher 1.21 and is able to share a download link? All I could find are betas, 2+ versions and other stuff that does not seem to fit with our trainer here.
