    Kickstarter vs finished games, seems either way you going to get buggy games and trainers not working, crashing, and etc even on games that are considered finished products.

    Kickstarter games seems to be a good idea at the time, but with today's gamers especially among those who like to cheat, they tend to look for instant gratification.

    Kickstarter games is a way for independent developers or developers to find funding for thier games that they have created since graduation from either Game Design Schools or recently fired developers from Knowned Businesses like Electronic Arts Entertainment and etc.

    Personally I say wait until the finish products.

    Using trainers and cheats on kickstarter games might have negative feedback as those new developers might decide to give up seeing how that are not only working on the bugs in the game but having to concentrate on stopping the cheating and they might NOT have the funds to hire more people especially software engineers who have the knowledge to combat cheats and trainers.

    As a few people have stated, a trainer for the game is nice, however your time would be better spent making trainers for games that are fully functional and out of their development cycle (in my opinion).

    It does seem to be a trend that will be here to stay, so perhaps as was previously suggested, for games that are still considered in a stage of development then perhaps only an update at the start or end of each month would be acceptable? Or you could also tack on "We will only make a trainer for an early access game once it has recieved at least 5 updates (or something along these lines) and then switch to the monthly update system untill it is considered feature complete?

    Either way, the work you guys do is incredible, my purchase of a lifetime membership was one of the best decisions i ever made, so whatever happens, i would like to thank you for that.

    I'd say that you should wait for the game to go gold. It's not feasible to make a new trainer biweekly, even though I would love it, but let's be realistic.

    We know that anyones time is valuable and to spend it on make trainers for something that is not in its final face is not very good but take under considaretion that you already know how this think works so it will be easy to make and update them. On the other hand a game will never stop updating and patcing so it will always need to be update the trainer anyway. Finally the early access games beyond anythink else is a cheap way to get a game legaly intstead of download it crashed. My poor opinion is to continiue develope trainers.

    Hey,

    I'd suggest:

    a) Increase the support necessary for "early access" requests

    b) Limit trainer releases to 1 per month (as suggested already)


    In any case I believe that with so many broken on release games, many of them much awaited big names in the market, CH should have re-done the release policy some time back... You have the users spoiled rotten with keeping up with every patch in games like AC4 etc. I believe more options and tweaks could be achieved per trainer increasing customer satisfaction if the releases for trainers where more on a schedule rather than at the beck and whim of the faulty releases...

    I remember a weekend with.. RTW2? they had 3 patches in a week? maybe you'll remember better than me.

    Anyway, that's my 2 cents on this.
