Just wondering how the game is. I'm not really able to find any current videos or pics and most of what I've found is either angry backers or happy backers, so I'm just wondering how those here who have played it are liking/disliking the game thus far.

I bought it like 2 hours ago, started playing immediately. I am enjoying the game so far. Scavenging for food can sometimes be tedious, but once you unlock some basic research and get a chicken farm going it should become easier.
I am still trying to figure out alot of things but so far I am pleased with my purchase. You have to scavenge resources, research to unlock new things and upgrades, build and expand your base. And I think I shot over 20 bandits with my shotgun allready. A tip from me is to use your basic shotgun at first, because anything else and you will miss alot of your shots.
Would I recommend you to buy this game? I would say yes. Just do not expect high graphics like the best games out there.
