I would post this in the official trainer thread, but it's locked sooo. The trainer crashes on authentication, I think because of the changes to IE10/11. Thank you for updating it again after so many problems!

I don't actually own the game so I don't use the trainer. However that being said, and if IE 10+11 is in fact the issue, I am going to assume based upon the fact that the info for the latest trainer on the screen with the download link does NOT say that the trainer is compatible with Windows 8 (i.e. won't work with IE 10+11) and that in this post, Link the suggested troubleshooting step is to uninstall IE 10 and 11. Having IE 10+11 would more than likely be the source of your issues.
