Just so everyone knows, they have added in the advanced race creation.

you need to put something in the horizon.ini file in your documents folder.

mod_allowAdvancedRaces=True

Then, when creating your race in the apptiudes tab, there should be a 'advanced race' button, press it, you get infinite trait points. :-)

Can post a screenshot of the option - I can't see it after editing the ini file.

When you are customization your race, there should be a tick box with 'advanced race' next to it, click that.

I changed
MOD_ALLOWADVANCEDRACES=FALSE to True in defaulthorizon and the one in the documents.

It works for me, not sure why it isn't working for you.

I kept the game from autoupdating on steam, but even after I reenabled the updates I still can't see that option. maybe it's because I have steam installed in a sandbox...

Well, it might have updated the horizon.ini in the documents folder back to default, you might need to put the info back in there.


Also, make sure its fully at 1.00.80 or whatever it is....i just know it has 80 on the end.

It was sandoboxie (or rather my own fault), I cleared whole game cache and folder from the documents folder, raised permissions for sandboxie, reinstalled steam and horizon and I have this option now - gives me inifnite symbol when turning it on.
