Hmmm... the "uplay"-trainer doesn't work for me. This litte "costumized"-bar appears and disappears within 2 seconds... nothing else happens.



Turned off Anti-Virus AND Firewall... still nothing. All similar trainers like this (AC4) I downloaded don't work for me too. Strange.

Probably your AV is blocking the file. Are you using Bit Defender or Kaspersky?

Bitdefender... but as I said, I turned the AV and FW off.

I ran Fiddler2 to check what the file tries to conntect to... it asked for a zip-file in a "unauthorized"-subfolder but get's a 404.

Doublechecked the FW as well. Got all permissions to get connection to the internet.

try uninstalling bitdefender and right click run as admin on trainer.

Something is interfering with the connection. You will have to track down whatever it is and disable / uninstall it.

The Trainers (e.g.AC4) worked a few days ago. No changes to the system (except the Win8-patches on thuesday).

And a system without anti virus? Bad advise, sorry.

Its just temporary to help you determine the cause of the issue. If you're not willing to take our suggestions then you will have to determine the cause on your own. Our trainers haven't changed. Something on your system has.
