Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Message Board  

If you have not yet bought this game it may be necessary to obtain a control pad (as has been pointed out to me.) The graphics are great . . . but the PC camera is a bit jumpy, camera maneuverability is slow to respond in some cases. Enemy weaknesses are hit and miss, but most especially are the "insta-death" scenarios. I find that I have a great deal of trouble with them. I had given up, but several people on these posts have given me a lot to think about, and some solutions to fix what I feel are severe difficulties (for me.)

Please, if you are going to vote me down, explain why. Perhaps you have information on game play that would change my mind...and even help me out.

Users are not required to explain their downvotes. Do note you are posting a negative opinion on the game board itself which is bound to attract opposing users.

You can change the speed of the camera in the options, but you would know this if you actually used the options menu. There's hardly any insta-death scenarios, and they can be easily avoided.


tl;dr: stop being terrible at video games.

I am playing it with a KB+M and I am doing really good.

I played this game on a console(PS3).
Honestly,i think this game was made to play on a console.
IDK,about the PC game combat/mechanics of the game,but,i am seeing a lot of negative reactions on the gameplay and combat.

On the console everything was smooth. Gameplay/combat mechanics.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
I think the way the keys are binded on the keyboard/mouse(if your playing that way) make it very difficult to master all the moves/combat.
Just my thoughts.

Thank you all for your input. I will obtain a controller (I think I have one in a box somewhere) I meant no offense to anyone, I was merely trying to explain myself. Perhaps I did a poor job of doing so. Also, thank you for your criticism. As for not posting an explanation, I was only asking that if someone could give me a hand in understanding what I was doing wrong: I can't understand that without corrective input. I know that no one is required to input heir information or experiences. I expect the bad press I got was because I failed to mention the nerve damage in my left hand that severely reduces my fine motor control. Also, my PC is less than two months old and can run everything on the market from FFXIV to BF4, to CoD Ghosts to AC Black flag - therefore the fault must lie with me and not my pc. If you have any suggestions on avoiding these instant-death scenarios, I would be very grateful. Again, thank you all for taking the time to respond to a post, even one that I have should have taken the time to write about the upsides instead of bashing it.
