That's something I don't understand. If the developer adds a solo option to the game why make the person still be online? Just make the solo portion be offline and keep the online and offline stuff separate.

Because what you don't get is this is not a single-player game It is 100% multiplayer, the solo is there because of things that are in the game, which can make it easier for you. Also if you don't wanna play with someone else at that time.

Which to me is stupid. If I wanted to play a 100% MP game I would play something like World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and/or Guild Wars 2. If a developer is going to add a solo option to a game that part should be offline.

I understand that. I'm just saying that it is from my perspective. In my opinion the Warframe developers seem to use the 100% MP thing as an excuse for always online DRM.

Genuenlly the game is MP only. There is the option to not have people or freinds join you if you want to do a mission by yourself if you feel up to trying like a nutter to do it but I can say they are not really made for SP runs. But in general this game is MP only. Team work really is needed. They are not using 100% MP as an excuse at all as what you call online DRM.

Now I can point out that I have play this and due to past routers because of my strict nat and unble to sort. I was pretty much stuck on trying to do really difficult runs myself. Which mostly had me rage quitting as they are not made for single players.

So they make a solo option for an MMO and yet they don't even balance it out for the people that play solo? If that's the case why did they even add a solo option in the first place? If they make the missions so difficult that people have to play in groups they should have just not added a solo option.

Mainly for material farming. Need some bits for some blueprint on an early level map? Just solo it without the worry of us new people flapping about like fish out of water.

Or for those with a deep masochistic streak. I know I sometimes enjoy taking my Rhino or Frost frames on solo runs, just to see how much I can take. Makes for some good training, and a bit more enjoyable than just running the course at the gym in the dojo.

Kill a thousand men and they will hate you. Kill a million men and they will queue to face you. But kill a single man and they will see monsters and devils in every shadow.

I agree with the above, But the same was done for Diablo 3, you are online even whilst on single player.

You can still single play in this game, and what would a trainer hurt if there was one made for Warframe? The game is Co-op thus not taking out the "fairness" in it seeing as there is no direct PVP.

One thing people are forgetting too, another reason why there will be no trainer for this is that there is a very over protective anti-cheat system in place that if it detects even a trainer running for a different game you are going to get banned, no if's no but's, you will be banned.

Also as everyone else has pointed out this is in no way a single player game, despite having an option for it, the reason you are always connected to a server is because the way the inventory and stuff is handled, if it was offline too, you would be able to hack your inventories and add things that you are meant to buy with real cash, this would then kill the ingame economy imo, and shortly after the game as why would people farm for stuff when they can just hack it into their game.
