Given the new policy of requiring a Lifetime Membership for trainers that are updated more than 20 times over their lifetime, I would suggest that people stop requesting updates for each beta version, unless you're going to upgrade at some point. The details can be found here: Link
Whether or not people even bother to read this post is questionable, but we shall see. I personally believe that purchasing Lifetime Membership was a great investment, and highly encourage everyone who pays monthly to upgrade, I also know people are going to start complaining once that 21st version needs to be made, and it will be their own fault for not stopping to consider how silly it was to request 3 updates in a single week for a game that is likely to have more than 20 patches before the official release.

Does the *Lifetime memberships are totally worth it* interpretive dance.
Although, I do agree. Mostly because I don't want these guys to get burnt out.

I agree. I'm currently downloading the Indignant Koala patch and thought about this very thing.
I'd prefer 0x90 save his sanity and perhaps wait a bit for the next iteration of his great trainer. Patching daily is crazy (even if this game is from a really small indie studio), and I'd rather go without a trainer, and wait until a later stage in beta when patches aren't so frequent.
Seems entirely preferable than to see this retired altogether and never see another trainer.
My 2 cents.

I'll disagree with your reasoning about the litetime membership. Upgrade, get it and move on. These guys make great trainers and provide quick response to questions (even a lot of the stupid ones).
Lifetime membership at Cheat Happens is the single best gaming investment I've ever made.
As for the constant updates I do agree they should just put those on hold until the game isn't patched daily. I appreciate the quick turn around on the trainers but I would agree to a pause to updates until the game changes slow down a bit.

The Updates for this Editor are mostly done by 0x90. And he do it without questioning and damn fast. Big Kudos at this point for his work and also for the rest of the team trying to be as fast as possible. Most trainers were put into retired mode because there were some dumb kiddos going insane if a trainer is not updated at the second the patch released. I have not read something like that, only thankful comments for starbound trainers.

Ya sorry but I have to agree. I paid my life membership before I started doing reviews or did my guides just to support the site. Ya they have deals sometimes and it's a bit pricey for a gaming website, but if you're a regular user of trainers it's not at all much to pay when you compare the price to "lifetime" lol.

I think you guys missed what I was trying to explain. I am a Lifetime Member, and I am suggesting to those who are not, that they should either not request new trainers for the betas, or they should definitely upgrade.
I *suggest* and *encourage* upgrading to Lifetime. I am looking to prevent and when Starbound hits its 21st version.
And, since the game is so new, only people who are Exclusive (have a currently paid membership but not necessarily Lifetime) can download them anyway. So if you're paying monthly, it would be much better to just upgrade to Lifetime.
