run as admin, verify so you dont have internet exploiter 10+ also dont alt tab away during the authentication that also is a cause of crashes

I run it in admin it ran fine for couple of mins then it crashed again. just found out the game crashed without activateing the trainer first so I think it is the game I think i did click on the game first the clicked on the trainer then it just crashed instantly

I think I fixed it it was the game crashing had to delete all old save games

I just started playing this game for the first time. So I don't have any old save game files and it still crashes after a few minutes.
I'm playing on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit machine.

I have windows 8.1 64 bit and it works just fine. There are the usual crashes you see with this game. it was quite glitchy on the pc for such a popular game. I recommend getting the UOP (Unofficial Oblivion Patch) you can find it on most of the mod sites. it fixes a lot of the bugs you see throughout the game and some of the crashes.
