I also am gutted by the fact the transition to 64 bit messed up your efforts, and dear lord the effort involved was insane cos of egosoft -.-, but id also like to more or less beg CH to shift support from the 32bit to the 64bit, it will be the only real way to play from now on. and to support both versions would be mad and untenable. I understand there are issues and frustration involved, but even with its mess, i love the game, and i cant play it and enjoy it without your trainer. So till you decide, im gonna kneel in the corner and beg till then *nods* lol
not going to happen.. this title patched 20 times in 32 bit.. we aren't going to move to 64 bit 1 year after the original game was released. titles like this should have been called alpha and beta and released to the public FOR FREE until they were supposedly 'complete'... now we have junk titles like this that are patched into completion with all manner of DLC for sale during the process. I suppose as long as people keep buying unfinished and broken titles then this will continue.. but we here at CH don't have to play along.
what's the difference between 64 bit and 32 bit? right now the biggest difference is that there is a trainer for 32 bit. other than that, you will find that this game is just as broken and patching in 64 bit.

Oh how i wish i could dismiss what ya said....but i cant, cos its way too correct -.-, egosoft ****ed me off to no end when they released this mess, and now, with this exe reversal they went ahead and not only slapped CH in the face after al lthis effort, but with that, they also ****ed over people reliant on the trainers to get the most outa this game, my fear is not the fact you wont support 64bit, its the fact they said they will stop support for the 32bit after a while, and that 64bit will be the future....why ego....why...*facedesk*

There is no difference really, 64-bit was made available to help with memory usage which is restricted under 32-bit, they could have optimized it instead though but they now have both x86 and x64 binaries but the game should look and play identical on both.
by the time they dump 32 bit, there will be new game called x-rebirth 2 and you will purchase it and give them feedback for 7 months while they actually finish it. maybe on THAT game we will start right off the bat with 64 bit. on THIS game, it's 32 bit only.

Hahaha love it xD, only thing il lsay against it is i aint buying there next x game til labout a year after release, they lost me as a pre-order or early release buyer, just like bioware/ea did
