Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Message Board  

I am running Windows 8.1 on a new PC (a week old.) I have tried every single trainer in the line-up for both DA Origins and DAO Awakening. Every single one of them crashes the moment it authorizes. I have disabled both my firewall and my Anti-Virus, but the same thing happens. Is this a problem unique to the newest version of Windows (8.1) or am I simply doing something wrong? Oh yes. I almost forgot. These are the original Steam versions (updated; I assume, by Steam updater since I have that turned on.)of Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Origins - Awakening. I have uninstalled IE 11, and am using Safari. I ran the trainers as an Administrator as well. I simply cannot think of anything else I can do. I checked for the urlmon as well.

Ah. Thank you for taking the time to respond. That at least explains why I was getting nowhere. I guess this is one game that I won't be playing again. Thanks, though, for the trainers for the earlier versions of Windows, as they worked quite well.

May I ask if you plan to make a Windows 8 trainer for these? I know you are all very busy, and games come out every single day that you make trainers for, so I really am just asking if it is possible, or if it will be too much effort for a game a few years old, like these are.
