Hey,
In case you didn't know, there are three endinds to FFX-2. The first one comes on right when you beat the game (Common Ending). However, if you press the X button during the scene at the Farplane Glen, the "Fath" will appear, anawer yes and you'll get the next ending (Good Ending). If you get 100% on you game you'll get to see the Perfect Ending (Best out of all 3 ) after the Good Ending, which is extremly hard to do.
Not trying to brag or anything but I've gotten 100% before. If anyone has any questions about the game I'll be more than happy to answer them.

Isn't it that to be able to get the good ending you have to press X 5 times or so (until the ghost dissappears and you can run up the path, if I remember correctly) when you can move Yuna around in that dark spot after she falls through the hole into the farplane. I was an idiot in my first game and I didn't do that, so when I pressed X in the farplane glen at the end, the fayth didn't appear.

You do have to press X like 5 times or whatever, but thats not for the ending. Thats just for the first time Yuna falls in. You press X to hear Tidus whistle and by like the fifth time you see his ghost leading Yuna out. For the end of the game, just press it once and tell the fayth yes that you want to see "him" again.

hold on im confused i have 100% but i didnt press X at the end when she was walking bak and i didnt press X 5 times when she falls through, so what can i do to get the perfect ending????do i just press X at the end when she is walking back???? 🤔 🤔 🤔

actually, theres 4 endings. When your figting vegnagun when that big gun is loaded, and you die when figting it, vegnagun will destroy the calm lands, go ahead and see for your self for you could know that I am not kidding.

Actually there are more requirements than just pressing x you have to press it in multiple areas and get multiple scenes. I dont know if it's up but I put a walkthru on how to get them in the cheats section. Check it out.
