Right Click desktop
Select Nvidia Control Panel
Goto Display > Check Desktop Colour Settings
Select the monitor you wish to change, select use Nvidia Settings, change desired brightness etc.
Click Apply
Should be fine for each restart.
Guess I should have mentioned that I tried modifying via the NVidia Control Panel as well = fail.
For the cabling, I know you said you tried HDMI & DVI-D and Dual DVI-D
But when you did the swap arounds did you try all combinations of this including trying each DVI-D cable on alternate monitors?
Just want to be sure it's not a faulty cable, since you have tried different monitors and graphics cards.
Also, have you swapped primary and secondary displays? Does it switch which one is not displaying correctly?
Yeah, I have tried varied cables as well. My card has the following slots: Display Port, HDMI, DVI-D, and DVI-I.
I have tried the following combos, HDMI/DVI-D, HDMI/Display Port, Dispaly Port/DVI-D, and DVI-D/DVI-D (both cables are DVI-D). I have swapped out the cables, and no matter what, my second display is always off.
