I've had DA2 installed for a number of years, and, as most recently about 4-5 months ago, everything, including the CH Trainer worked just fine.
Today, I decided to revisit the game, and when I clicked on the desktop shortcut, I got an error message that said (wish I had saved it in total...) that among other phrases, the "win32 file is no longer recognized...."
So, I reinstalled the game from the original purchased install disk (vice Steam...) and the game itself now works fine.
However, the latest offered Trainer as per Cheat Happens for me now crashes the game every time I use it (game freezes up....)
I know this is a relatively older game (meaning at least 3+ years since publishing....) but I would be interested to hear:
A. Anyone else having the same problems?
B. If there's a work around, does anyone have any advisement?
Thanks!!

If I understand you right. There is no steam version. Also sounds like your game was corrupted. Now since DA2 is on Origin the games do not auto update there so it will be the first trainer probably you should be using. But you should up date the game any hows. So then it would be the latest trainer that runs on your OS.

Good advice, and thanks very much.
Everything now works fine. Although I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I shoulda figured this out myself....
Wish I knew where the game files corruption came from, but I guess "stuff happens"....
Anyway, moving on, and back to the game. Again, appreciate the advice(!)....
