Does the trainer work on the Steam version?

It was made for the steam version.

The Steam version of the game was recently updated. Now, whenever the trainer is running, it crashes when you attempt to pause the game. I was able to verify that this is being caused by the trainer by running the game without the trainer, and it does not crash when you attempt to pause the game.

Let me know if there is anything else needed to try and fix this issue.
