PWIZ, you said in the previous post on Win8 and I quote: "The WIN8 trainer only works with a single source of the game patched to 1.05."
So, what do you mean by a single source of the game, retail? Steam? Origin? I am using the Disk install since the Origin UE does not work with any of the trainers I have downloaded here, so little insight on that comment is asked for please

We don't know which source it works with, simply that it will only work with one of them. If you are using the disk install and it doesn't work, then that is not the one it works with.

You know, in a weird way, it does sound possible, but. Yes I did install the Disk install of DOA, no awaking's yet. Manually installed all the dlc and Dzap files. Took it up to 1.05 and it is working without a hitch. A couple FYI's though: Disable display scaling on high DPI settings stopped all the crashes I was getting. I also set the compatibility setting's to Windows Vista SP2 for both the win8 trainer and the game itself. Played for 3 hours straight with no issues so far. I hope this helps anyone else that has ran into this issue.
